Well, if you've been listening to the radio or reading the paper, you've seen some, well, erroneous information. All media outlets seems to be annoucing that Lindblom is closing. There is no effort to differentiate between Lindblom College Prep, which is phasing out, and Lindblom Math & Science Academy, which is emerging.

I have emailed every grammar school principal in the city to let them know that the information regarding Lindblom's closing is false. However, as I'm sure you know, we have another mountain to overcome. Any contacts you have at local grammar schools (public or private) or churches would be helpful.

As I hope you know, we are alive and well. We will be adding a new group of freshmen every year, continuing to build an innovate school dedicated to rich and unique opportunities in math & science education as well as varied programs (such as Chinese & Arabic language offerings, a unique colloquium and much, much more).

Please let any students who have applied to the selective enrollment schools know that the press did not do its homework. We are not closing. We are here. We are strong. We are Lindblom.
